The physicochemical characteristics of UCOs are mainly dependent on the oil of origin, cooking practices such as  degree of reuse, operating conditions, heating elements, etc. Food habits and waste management methods namely storage time and conditions also dictate the physicochemical characteristics of UCO. Our state of the art pre-treatment facility is used for the up-grading of UCOs in order to obtain suitable oleochemical feedstocks for value-added applications.
